Grade 9-12. One semester. Prerequisite is Engineering Technology 1.
Engineering Technology 2 builds on skills learned in Engineering Technology 1 in order to deepen understanding. Students build on their skill and expertise through hands-on experiences and modular technology units, and continue to collaborate in engineering teams. Focus is placed on implementing the design process to develop solutions to real-world problems. Throughout the course, students practice skills in communication, organization, and teamwork, and are exposed to potential career paths in the manufacturing and engineering industry. A lab fee will be charged.
